A Blended Model of Massage Education

With more and more students looking for online education opportunities, schools and educators need to know how to integrate emerging technology into their own business models. In this presentation, schools and educators will have the opportunity to discover the vast potential of online learning in massage education. You will learn about the possibilities that integrating online learning with classroom learning provides. The presenter discusses their model of online delivery and the potential of open-education-resource development by massage educators.

David McQuillan

David is the coordinator of a two-year massage program. He has moved the program to a blended delivery format: hands-on skills taught in the classroom and theory taught online. The school uses many contemporary communication technologies to deliver the program, and are aligned with open-education philosophies. His experience as an educator allows him to share his knowledge and skills with others.
